Heartwood Preserve is a conservation cemetery within a 41-acre nature preserve. Bordering the 18,000-acre Starkey Wilderness Preserve and tucked within the rapidly growing community of Trinity, Heartwood is dedicated to conserving wild and old Florida. By providing the green burial practice of not allowing the use of embalming or vaults, we return our loved ones to the earth in a traditional way, which protects a highly diverse ecosystem of longleaf pine flatwoods and cypress dome wetlands.
Our easily accessible cemetery begins steps away from the parking lot with clear signage and maintained trails. Our Welcome Center can be rented and customized for any size group -- from intimate gatherings to large Celebrations of Life.
