End-of-life support and education via active listening and normalization of the dying journey.
Bio:
After retiring as a hospice/palliative nurse, obtaining doula training was an organic way to continue my life’s mission in end-of-life care and support. Normalizing the process to mitigate fears is primary as my role of death doula.
Active listening and presence are often welcome by the dying individual and/or family to foster a calm and informed environment for transition from earthly life. Dignity for the dying is my goal.
