Emotional and spiritual support for patients and families from initial diagnosis to the transitioning process. I offer companionship, grief support, comfort care, caregiver support and respite care as well as education and resources to help families and patients better understand the disease process and progression, possible manifestations, and symptom management.
Bio:
Greetings. I have been an RN for close to 20 years. My background is in emergency medicine, but I have spent the last 5 years as a hospice nurse working with patients and families from diagnosis until death. I have taken courses in Holistic Nursing and am completing my doctorate in Oriental Medicine. I embrace alternative and complementary medicine and recently became certified in Reiki healing. I also provide mobile IV hydration and therapies such as B12 injections to assist in symptom management.
