Bio:
Chris Eaton is a Death Doula, ordained minister, author, speaker, and veteran serving individuals and families throughout the Greater Tampa Bay area, with virtual and travel support available when appropriate.
Chris provides non-medical end-of-life and spiritual care for people navigating serious illness, dying, anticipatory grief, loss, and major life transitions. His approach emphasizes presence, compassionate listening, dignity, and honoring each person’s individual beliefs, story, values, and wishes.
Support may include bedside presence and vigil, anticipatory grief and family support, end-of-life conversations and planning, legacy and meaning-centered work, spiritual and existential support, caregiver support, ceremonies and memorials, and helping families navigate the emotional uncertainty surrounding death and dying.
Chris completed Life, Death & Transition / Death Doula training through Fundación Elisabeth Kübler-Ross México and holds a Master of Theology & Biblical Studies. He is an ordained minister currently pursuing doctoral studies in theology and completing Global Christian Chaplaincy training.
His background also includes military leadership and combat, emergency and medical training, crisis response, meditation, breathwork, and nervous-system regulation. Rather than bringing one prescribed spiritual or philosophical framework to the bedside, Chris works to meet individuals and families where they are and honor what matters most to them.
